BioGuard Comfort Up is a spa pH increaser designed to raise low pH and help restore correctly balanced spa water.

Low pH can make spa water corrosive, contribute to damage of equipment and surfaces, reduce sanitiser stability and make the water uncomfortable for bathers.

When Do I Need a pH Increaser?

Use a pH increaser when testing shows your spa water pH is below the recommended range.

What Should Spa pH Be?

Aim to keep your spa water within the recommended range shown on your water-care program and chemical instructions.

If your pH is too low, BioGuard Comfort Up raises it. If the pH is too high, use the appropriate spa pH decreaser instead.

Balance Alkalinity First

Total alkalinity helps stabilise pH.

If your alkalinity is too low, the pH can move up and down quickly even after adjustment. Test and correct total alkalinity before repeatedly adjusting pH.

For low total alkalinity, use BioGuard Performance Up.

How Much Comfort Up Should I Add?

The amount required depends on:

• Your spa water volume
• Current pH reading
• Total alkalinity
• Desired pH adjustment

Always test the water first and follow the dosage instructions on the product label.

Add chemicals gradually rather than attempting a large adjustment all at once.
