THE BIGGER POD

When you want the fire bowl to anchor the whole space.

Pod 30 brings the pottery-inspired shape into tighter spaces. Pod 40 takes the same idea and gives it considerably more visual weight.

At a full metre across and just over half a metre high, its deeper bowl creates a substantial centrepiece that works particularly well in larger outdoor lounge and entertaining areas.

Pod 30 is the more compact choice for smaller patios and tighter seating areas. Pod 40 is its larger sibling, designed for spaces where you want the fire bowl to become a stronger visual centrepiece.

WHEN THE FIRE IS OFF

Give the bowl another job.

EcoSmart's optional R20 Cover Plate fits over the burner section when the fire is completely off and cool, creating a flatter usable surface across the centre of the bowl.

Optional accessory: The R20 Cover Plate is sold separately.

Do you keep Pod 40 in stock?
No. Pod 40 is specially ordered directly from EcoSmart. Call 03 6142 3922 or email info@poolandspaworldtas.com.au and we can confirm your preferred configuration, availability and expected lead time.
What is the difference between Pod 30 and Pod 40?
Pod 30 is the smaller 762mm model. Pod 40 is 1000mm across and has a deeper, more substantial body, making it better suited to larger areas where the fire pit needs more visual presence.
Does Pod 40 require a gas connection?
The bioethanol Pod 40 does not require a permanent gas connection or electrical supply. Its AB8 burner is manually fuelled with compatible bioethanol.
Can Pod 40 be used indoors?
EcoSmart lists Pod 40 for indoor or outdoor use. Indoor use requires additional safety components and compliance with EcoSmart's minimum room-volume, clearance and installation requirements.
Is the glass screen included?
No. EcoSmart currently lists the R530 and R400 Fire Screens as optional accessories for Pod 40.
Can Pod 40 be used like a coffee table?
The wide rim already provides useful surface area around the flame. EcoSmart also offers an optional R20 Cover Plate that covers the burner opening when the fire is completely off and cool.
What colours are available?
Pod 40 is currently available in Natural, Graphite and Bone Fluid Concrete, with Stainless Steel or Black burner finishes.
What comes with Pod 40?
EcoSmart currently lists the Jerry Can 5L, Fire Lighter, Lighting Rod, Bottle Adaptor and Black Glass Charcoal as included operating accessories.
How long does the AB8 burner run?
EcoSmart's current specification gives an indicative 7–9 hour burn time from the 8 litre AB8 burner. Actual performance varies with installation, conditions and fuel.
