The campfire, turned into architecture.
Tall, sculptural and impossible to mistake for an ordinary fire pit, EcoSmart Stix 8 takes the familiar shape of gathered campfire sticks and transforms it into a dramatic contemporary outdoor fire.
Familiar enough to recognise. Different enough to remember.
Designer Hiroshi Tsunoda took one of the oldest forms of fire — sticks gathered around a central flame — and rebuilt it with clean geometric lines.
Stix 8 takes that original concept and gives it more scale, creating a taller and more commanding version of the original Stix.
Some fires warm the space. This one defines it.
Stix 8 is less about blending quietly into the furniture and more about becoming a deliberate architectural feature.
Vertical presence.
At 1,085mm tall, Stix 8 draws the eye upwards rather than spreading across valuable floor space.
Flame through the structure.
The varying tubular forms frame glimpses of the flame, changing its appearance as you move around the fire.
No fixed gas line.
Bioethanol operation gives you a substantial real flame without permanently plumbing gas to the fire pit.
It looks like sculpture. Then you light it.
Even before the flame starts, Stix 8 has enough form and height to become part of the architecture of the space.
Once lit, the flame appears between the dark tubular elements, creating changing layers of fire, shadow and steel.
A larger interpretation of the original Stix design.
Barcelona-based designer Hiroshi Tsunoda created Stix around simple geometric forms inspired by the traditional campfire.
Stix 8 keeps that recognisable visual language but increases the scale, making the design more suitable for larger outdoor environments and spaces that need a stronger focal point.
Bigger Stix. Bigger burner. Bigger presence.
Unlike the smaller Stix, Stix 8 uses EcoSmart's full-size AB8 burner to give the larger structure a flame that suits its scale.
Same design language. Very different scale.
Both models reinterpret the traditional campfire through Hiroshi Tsunoda's geometric design. The difference is how much visual presence you want.
Black structure. Bright flame.
Stix 8 is deliberately restrained in colour. The black powder-coated surround creates a strong silhouette and lets the warm flame become the visual contrast.
Choose Stainless Steel or Black for the AB8 burner depending on whether you want the burner itself to stand out or disappear further into the structure.
Over a metre high. Still less than 800mm wide.
The 792mm footprint keeps Stix 8 relatively compact at ground level, while its 1,085mm height creates the visual impact normally associated with a much larger fire feature.
